Collector presents deposit receipts to 17 students

Collector Rajagopal Sunkara presented Rs 75000 worth deposit receipts to 17 students who lost their mother or father or permanent disablity of parents at a function held at the Collectorate on Tuesday.
The scheme is implemented to provide financial assistance to students studying in government schools. The deposit is made in the Tamil Nadu Electricity and Infrastructure Development Corporation. 
This amount will be returned with interest on the student's 21st birthday.
