The Nilgiris District Collector M. Aruna received 163 petitions at the public grievance redressal day function held at the Collectorate on Monday. She advised the officials to take action on them immediately and ensure government benefits to public. She presented identity cards to 4 workers under the Tamil Nadu Sanitation Workers Welfare Board and Rs 15000 to Varshika, a matric student of Gudalur GDMO school, for winning in the Thirukkural Elocution Contest on behalf of the Tamil Development Department and certificate of appreciation to 4 students who won the short story and painting competitions in the Tirukkural conference held at Virudhunagar District.
