The Nilgiris District Collector Mrs. M. Aruna received 210 petitions containing various demands from the public at the public grievances redressal day meeting held at the collectorate on Monday.
She asked the departmental officers concerned to provide government welfare assistance to the beneficiaries, take immediate action on the petitions received under the Chief Minister's Address Scheme, and give priority to the petitions of the public requesting basic facilities.
On behalf of the Ex-Servicemen Welfare Department, she handed over Rs 37000 to to 4 people.
District Revenue Officer Mrs. Keerthi Priyadarsini, District Collector's PA (General) Mrs. Thanapriya, Deputy Collector (Social Security Scheme) Mrs. Kalpana, Assistant Director of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (P) Mr. Indirakumar and many government officials were present.
