Collector releases draft electoral list

Collector H Krishnanunni released draft electoral roll for 8 assembly segments in the district, prepared on the basis of forms received from public regarding inclusion, deletion, correction and change of address in the voters list, at a function held at the collectorate on Wednesday. 

He said the roll would be kept for public view at all taluk, RDO, and electoral registration offices for public view. 
The voters in the district as on Jan 5, 2022 are 1987644,  newly included voters 13508, deleted voters  55172, total voters as on Nov 9 are 1945580. Segment wise number of voters are: Erode East 226491, Erode West 296026, Modakurichi 228942, Perundurai 228032, Bavani 239339, Anthiyur 215222, Gobi 253100, Bavanisagar (R) 258428. Total 1945580.
