A wall wall is going to be built around Bannari Amman temple to protect the devotees coming to the temple from wild animals, HR and CE Minister PK Shekharbabu.
He visited the famous Mariamman temple near Sathy in Erode district. Then he told reporters: A demand was made in the assembly that a Rajagopuram should be built for the Temple.
So, 9 tier Rajagopuram will be constructed in the temple at a cost of Rs. 12 crores. As the temple is located in a dense forest, elephants and other wild animals enter the temple area and damage the iron fence.
In order to prevent this, a compound wall will be built around the temple at a cost of around Rs.2 cr for the safety of the devotees visiting the temple. A small first-aid hospital will be set up near the temple. Doctors and nurses will be employed to work 24 hours a day.
