Cong functionaries want Rahul to become oppn leader

Erode Maanagar District Congress Committee, led by its president Thiruselvam, appealed to the party high command to elect Rahul Gandhi as opposition leader in the Lok Sabha and Congress parliamentary board president as his 
2 long march across the length and breadth of the nation was the main reason for the victory of the 
party.
The meeting, held in the party office on Friday, adopted a resolution in this regard. 
It thanked the CM, TNCC president Selvaperunthagai, and former president EVKS Elangovan for working hard for the victory of all 40 candidates of INDIA Bloc in TN and 
Puducherry.
Party functionaries Jawahar Ali, Jafar Sadhik, Rajesh Rajagopa, Batcha, MM Harshad, Vijayabaskar, Gnanadeepa, Marimuthu, Untimate Dinesh, Juber Ahmad, ER Rajendran, Surya Suddiq, Prabhu and many attended.
