Cong seeks farm loan waiver scheme again

Congress Erode South district president Dr Makkal Rajan and former MLA RM Palanisamy appealed to the CM to waive farm loan pending in nationalised banks while paying floral tribute to Theeran statue. 

They said that in Coop Banks also, many ryots were left out from getting loan waiver benefit which was already announced.  

The CM should influence the Centre to ensure such benefit and also hike in procurement price for food grains to help ryots get more income. They also pleaded to the Governor to ensure more growth in the state by cooperating to the state government  which is performing well by approving 19 bills pending with him for the past many months. 

He should act in support of the people of the state and not act as per the dictate of the Centre, they pleaded.
