Cookr organises Food Tech Hackathon for engineering students

Cookr Company, a leading food delivery platform operating in seven districts across Tamil Nadu, has excelled in Coimbatore for two years and is now expanding to Bangalore and Hyderabad. Differentiating itself from traditional hotel and restaurant food delivery, Cookr specialises in home-cooked food delivery.
To address challenges in food supply, Cookr organised the 'Food Tech Hackathon 2024' for engineering college students in Coimbatore. 
The event was inaugurated by Cookr Co-Founder and CEO Prabha Santhanakrishnan, alongside co-founders Nirmalkumar and Saravanakumar Kandasamy, at Government Engineering College, Thadagam road.
Out of 200 participants, 60 students were selected for the competition. Top 5 teams were awarded prizes, with the top three receiving prizes worth Rs 50,000 from Cookr. 
Ramanathan, Software Development VP at Cookr, highlighted the event's significance in addressing food delivery challenges and providing job opportunities for talented 
students.
