COP congratulates taxi driver for his honesty

City police commissioner Saravana Sundar congratulated the taxi driver who returned jewelry and cash that was left behind in the taxi by one of his passengers.
Sampath is driving a taxi for Red Taxi. One of his passengers had left a bag in the taxi. When Sampath noticed it, the bag contained gold jewels weighing 15 sovereigns and cash worth Rs 10,000. He, with the help of Race Course police personnel, returned the bag to the concerned passenger.
Learned about the incident, the police commissioner congratulated him, and honoured him with a shawl. Appreciations have been pouring in for the driver.
