Corpn Mayor inspects development works

Coimbatore Corporation Mayor  Kalpana Anandakumar, Corporation Commissioner Sivaguru Prabhakaran personally inspected the cleanliness works and drinking water works in the northern zone areas of Coimbatore Corporation on Monday.

 They inspected the sanitation work in Maniyakarambalayam area under Ward No. 12 of Coimbatore Corporation North Zone and inspected the garbage from the public in the area.They advised the workers to create awareness to dispose the garbage into biodegradable and non-biodegradable garbage.  They also conducted a survey regarding the construction of rainwater drainage in the area. 

The Commissioner inspected the works under the Pillur drinking water project in the Nanjaigounden Pudur area in North Zone Ward No.12 and 24 hours drinking water supply scheme  in Ranga Nagar area.

He visited Vivekanandhar Street, Ramakrishnapuram, Srivari residential area in Ward No. 19 and instructed the cleanliness workers to make the public in the area aware of the disposal of biodegradable and non degradable sewage. 

 Councillors Ramamurthy, Palaniswami (A) Siravai Siva, Assistant Commissioner Sridevi, Assistant Executive Engineer Ezhil, Zonal Health Officer Radhakrishnan, Health Inspector Paunraj, TWAD Officers and many others attended the event.
