Creating a platform to inspire young aspiring golfers
Following the resounding success of the inaugural Golf tournament in 2023, The Leela Palace Bengaluru hosted the second edition of this enthralling 18-hole tournament at the Karnataka Golf Association, Bengaluru on 30th January 2024 in collaboration with KGA Junior Golf Development and Golf Foundation.
The tournament was inaugurated with a ceremonial shotgun tee-off on the 30th of January 2024 by none other than the legendary Vijay Amritraj. Amritraj.His presence on the course is a testament to the spirit of sportsmanship and its ability to transcend boundaries.
Before the tee-off of the tournament, Tennis legend, Vijay Amritraj said " I see more and more youngsters taking to this game, and this initiative by The Leela is sure to go a long way in identifying budding talent and enabling them to achieve excellence in the sport."
