CSI College of Engineering becomes autonomous institution

CSI College of Engineering was started in the year 1998 by CSI Coimbatore Diocese. This Institution has got NAAC accredition in the year 2023. The admission is currently about 65% of the total intake. The placement is in the range of 85% to 95%.
This Institution is recognised as EDII TN Hub in the District of the Nilgiris by Government of Tamilnadu.
The College is offering the following courses: B.Tech Artificial Intelligence & Date Science Information Technology B.E Mechanical Engineering Electronics & Communication Engineering Computer Science and Engineering CSE. (Cyber Security)
CSE. (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) The College, is bestowed with Autonomous Status on 28th of July 2025 from the academic year 2025-26 to 2029-30 by University Grants Commission, Ministry of Education, Government of India. They have also directed Anna University to implement Autonomous Status with 30 days of time. With autonomy, CSI College is now equipped with the academic freedom to innovate, restructure, and modernize its programs in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The Future vision of the this Institution is to become Deemed to be University in another 5 year with sustainable development, in between. 
This Institution is contemplating to launch a satellite to study the Nilgiris Biosphere in the years to come.
The College is run by the CSI Coimbatore Diocese under the Chairmanship of Rt. Rev. Timothy Ravinder,  Mr. Godwin R. Daniel, Correspondent, Dr. P. D. Arumairaj, Director and Dr. R. Mercy Shanthi, Principal.
