Cycle rally to create awareness about chess olympiad

The district collector GS Sameeran flagged off a cycle rally to create awareness about the 44th chess olympiad organized in the state. 
 

Ahead of the olympiad that is taking place between July 28 and August 10 at Mamallapuram, several awareness programmes are being organized across the state. As a part of it, an awareness programme was organized in the city by the cycling association at Racecourse. 
 

While the collector flagged off the rally, police commissioner V Balakrishnan pedelled a cycle along with others. The district sports officer Ravichandran participated in the event.
