Deepavali special sales kick-started at Co-optex

The district collector Kranthikumar Pati on Thursday kick-started the Deepavali special sales at Marutham co-optex showroom located near VOC park in the city. Co-optex MD Nandha Gopal said, “Co-optex has been working towards uplifting the livelihood of weavers by marketing their products at showrooms across the country for the past 89 years. Handloom products would be sold through six outlets in Coimbatore. Collector kick-started the Deepavali special sales at the showroom in the city. Ahead of Deepavali, silk and cotton sarees, bed covers, bed sheets, readymade shirts and salwars were stocked for sales at the outlets. Co-optex offers a 30% discount for handloom materials.” Distribution manager Jagannathan, former zonal manager Suresh, PRO Senthil Anna, APRO Mohan Raj, Co-optex PRO Nataraj, branch manager Selvan and others attended the event.
