Delhi based company to clean and purify Coimbatore lakes

A Delhi-based company, DL Lion Services Ltd, has been tasked with the responsibility of cleaning and purifying several lakes in Coimbatore. This initiative comes under the Smart City scheme and aims to improve the condition of lakes such as Krishnampathy lake, Selvampathy lake, Kumarasamy lake, Selva Sindamani lake, Ukkadam lake, Valankulam lake, and Kuruchi lake for public use.
The decision to engage DL Lion Services Ltd was made under the guidance of Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar and Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Sivaguru Prabakaran. The company has already commenced its purification work from Friday.
Known for its effective execution of various projects across the country, DL Lion Services Ltd was selected to undertake this significant task. The event marking the commencement of the purification work was attended by several government officials.
