Dr. P. Shankar, the District Monitoring Officer and Special Secretary of the Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Department, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of developmental initiatives in Salem district.
The review assessed the progress of construction of 496 flats, a gas crematorium, waste management, healthcare operations, dredging projects, road improvement works, and infrastructure development.
The review also examined agricultural and rural development efforts, including dry land setup and micro-irrigation projects.
Dr. Shankar announced an impending review meeting, which will convene government officials across departments.
The review aims to ensure quality and timely completion of these initiatives. Noteworthy attendees include Additional Collector (Development) of the District Rural Development Agency, Dr.AlarmelMangai, and Assistant Collector (Training) Ms.SwathiShri,, alongside pertinent officers.
