Cricketer Dinesh Karthik inaugurated the cricket ground developed by cricketer T. Natarajan at his native village Chinnapampatti in Salem district on Friday.T. Natarajan who has played for India and is an IPL champion hails from Chinnapampatti in Salem district. He has attracted attention by playing well in the IPL cricket series for Sunrisers Hyderabad. At the end of 2020, Natarajan was a net training bowler in the Indian cricket team that went to Australia.After the leading fast bowlers who were part of the Indian team in that series withdrew due to injury, Natarajan played in the Indian team in all 3 types of cricket matches in the same series namely Test, ODI and T20.The Yorkers were especially talked about in Natarajan's delivery. Natarajan's uncanny performance attracted the attention of various star players not only in India but also internationally. Through his cricket academy, Natarajan is trying to create more talented rural youth who are interested in the game of cricket.For this Natarajan purchased land and developed his own cricket ground in Chinnapampatti village in Salem district. Designed by Natarajan, the stadium has four center pitches, two practice tracks, a gym, canteen and a mini-gallery that can seat 100 spectators. The opening ceremony was held on Friday as Natarajan's cricket play ground was fully ready for use.Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik inaugurated the playground.
