District Collector M Aruna flagged off the boat races in Nilgiris

As part of the summer festivities in the Nilgiris district, District Collector M Aruna inaugurated the boat races at the Nilgiris Boat House. This event marked the culmination of a series of celebrations, including the 126th Flower Show at the Government Botanical Garden, the 19th Rose Show at the Centenary Rose Park, and the 64th Fruit Show at Sims Park, Coonoor, all aimed at entertaining the influx of tourists.
The boat races featured several categories: Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, Couples, Journalists, and Boat House Staff. The rowing competition for the Ooty Boat House staff was particularly popular among the spectators.
District Collector M Aruna flagged off the event and later felicitated the winners with trophies.
