DMDK complains to EC about cash distribution to voters

DMDK State Deputy Secretary Sudish accused that DMK is distributing huge amount of money to voters in Erode East by-election. So, DMDK lidged a complaint to EC. He declared open DMDK Erode East candidate Anandh's election office at Erode on Friday.

Asked about DMK ministers stand that the government allotted Rs  300 cr and Rs 450 cr for civic amenities in Erode, and the government would soon hike free power to weavers, he said such announcements were violation of election code of conduct.

 In general DMK would give many false promises to win in the election. So, the CM also said that 85 percent of poll promises were fulfilled. But people knew well how many promises were fulfilled so far. With their support, DMDK would win in the bypoll, he added.
