DMK members held silent rally on Anna’s memorial day in Coimbatore

On the occasion of the 56th death anniversary of Perarignar Anna, political parties and the public across Tamil Nadu paid tributes by garlanding his statues and displaying his pictures.
As part of the memorial observance, the Coimbatore DMK organised a silent rally under the leadership of Municipal District Secretary N Karthik. The march began at Siddhapudur VKK Menon Road and concluded at Gandhipuram, where Anna’s statue is located.
Hundreds of DMK members, including women, participated in the peaceful procession, carrying Anna’s photograph as a mark of respect. Upon reaching Gandhipuram, all participants showered flowers on a picture placed near Anna’s statue.
