DMK organises Labour Day celebrations in Coimbatore

On the occasion of May 1st, Labour Day, the Coimbatore District DMK organised a special program to honour and celebrate the contributions of labourers. Led by Coimbatore District DMK Secretary Na. Karthik, ex-MLA, the event began with the garlanding of the statue of Muthamizh Arignar Kalaignar, followed by the offering of flowers.

As a gesture of appreciation, sweets were distributed to all attendees. Additionally, welfare assistance was provided to over 200 auto workers, recognising their hard work and dedication.

The event saw the participation of several prominent figures including District DMK Deputy Secretary Kottai Abbas, District DMK Treasurer SMP Murugan, LPF Auto Union General Secretary P Vanangamudi, District Unorganised Labour Team Organiser AS Jayakumar, as well as executives from the LPF union and a large number of auto workers.
