At the Sanatana Abolition Conference on September 2, Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin spoke against what he called oppressive life style of Sanatana Dharma. He was the target of multiple lawsuits because of the speech.
But Udhayanidhi Stalin has been announcing the abolition of Sanatana nonstop, claiming that his policy is to maintain social justice and that he will not budge from the suggested ideology.“
For us, ideology is more significant than power,” Udayanidhi Stalin affirmed his commitment to the Dravidian way of
thinking.
Journalists questioned Minister Udayanidhi Stalin about the inauguration of the Ram temple. ”As the Muthamizharignar Karunanidhi said, we are not against any religion.
Not against any temple. But we do not agree with the demolition of the mosque and the construction of a Ram temple in that place,” said Minister Udayanidhi Stalin.

This conference is expected by the DMK party leaders to be the beginning of winning the parliamentary elections.
