Door-to-door distribution of Braille voter information sheet for visually impaired

As the Parliamentary election in Tiruvannamalai approaches, District Electoral Officer and Tiruvannamalai Collector D Bhaskara Pandyan has been diligently overseeing the preparations with only a few days remaining.
In a commendable initiative, he led the distribution of Braille Voter Information Slips to visually impaired individuals in Tiruvannamalai and Arani Parliamentary Constituencies. Accompanied by polling station officials, he conducted door-to-door visits to provide these vital resources to 312 visually impaired individuals in the Tiruvannamalai assembly constituency.
The Braille Voter Information Slip contains comprehensive details, including the election day, polling time, polling station information, and voter details, ensuring that visually impaired individuals have access to all necessary information to participate in the electoral process.
Assistant Returning Officer and Tiruvannamalai Revenue Commissioner R. Manthakini, along with other department officials were present in the event.
