Dr. Ravi Pachamuthu inaugurated the 79th Annual State Medical Conference in Salem

The 79th Annual State Medical Conference of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Tamil Nadu State Branch, was inaugurated by Dr. Ravi Pachamuthu, Chairman of SRM Group, on December 14 in Salem. The two-day event, TIMACON 2024, brought together over 2,000 IMA members from across the state to discuss advancements in healthcare and honor contributions in the medical field.
“It is an honour to be part of this prestigious event. The medical fraternity plays a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare. I commend the efforts of the IMA Tamil Nadu State Branch in organising such a significant platform for knowledge sharing and networking,” said Dr. Ravi Pachamuthu during the inauguration ceremony.
The conference, hosted by IMA’s Attur and Salem branches, was held at Theerthamalai Gounder Thirumana Maaligai, Salem. Dignitaries in attendance included Guest of Honor Dr. J Devi Meenal, Dean of Govt. Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College, along with IMA TNSB leaders Dr. KM Abul Hasan, Dr. S Karthik Prabhu, and Dr. S Gowri Shankar.
The IMA Tamil Nadu State Branch continues to collaborate actively with the state government on key health initiatives, further strengthening healthcare delivery in the region.
