DRO receives 167 public petitions

District Revenue Officer Mrs.S.Santoshini Chandra received 167 petitions at the People's Grievance Day meeting held at Erode District Collector's office on Monday. The petitions were related to old age, widow, destitute women, disability pension, housing, employment, departmental action, education loan, business loan, drinking water, road, basic facilities etc.

She handed over them to the relevant departmental officers and ordered them to take immediate action. She reviewed the status of petitions sent to the  Chief Minister's cell and Ministers. She gave appreciation letters to 19 polling station officials belonging to Gopichettipalayam, Bhavanisagar and Perundurai assembly constituencies who have completed 100 percent of the task of linking Aadhaar number with Voter ID card at polling centers in Erode district as per the order  of Election Commission of India.
