Drone Challenge 2K25-International Drone Day

Velalar College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), Thindal, Erode, hosted the "Drone Challenge 2K25" on May 7, 2025, in commemoration of International Drone Day. 
College president C. Jayakumar, secretary S. D. Chandrasekar, trustee M. Yuvaraja, Principal Dr. M. Jayaraman, ECE HoD Dr. M. Nisha Angeline inaugurated the show. 
The Chief Guest Ms. Kaviya Gunashree K., Founder and CEO of Raphael Drones and GIS Services, Tenkasi, spoke on drone technology. Guests of Honor Mr. Maris Vignesh S. (Unitos Aero Drone Solutions), Mr. Vasanth P. (Flytutor Technologies), and Mr. Suresh Kumar S. M. (Birdscale Technologies) conducted a workshop. 
A Drone Show-Obstacle Racing, Payload Lifting,-and Aerial Photography, along with live demonstrations by Raphael Drones and VCET's student teams were held.
