ED conducts raid in the houses of AIADMK, BJP dignitaries in Pudukottai

The enforcement directorate (ED) was conducting raids today (November 29) at the houses of three people, including two members of AIADMK and BJP parties in Pudukottai district.
Muruganantham hails from Pudukottai's Charles Nagar area. Palanivel hails from Katukkadu village of Karambakudi taluk. While both the brothers were in the AIADMK, Muruganandam left the party a few years ago and joined the BJP and is the district treasurer. Both are contractors. The raid was being conducted under the protection of paramilitary forces in the houses of them and also in one Palanivel's house in Alangudi.
Similarly, ED conducted raids in Dindigul. Business tycoon Ratnam's Dharani Group office is functioning on GTN Road near Dindigul Ring Road. Today, morning at 7.30 am, the officials came to the office conducted a raid. 
A total of 8 people came in two cars along with the CRPF police and closed the door of the office and conducted the raid. No one, except securitymen, was allowed inside. They examined the files in the office. They got the keys of the locked rooms and opened them. The trial which started in the morning continues. This is the third time the enforcement department has raided the Dindigul Ratnam's office.
