ED raid continues in the houses of ex Minister Vaithilingam on 2nd day

On the basis of a case registered by the DVAC that he received a bribe of Rs 27.90 crore for granting permission for the construction of an apartment complex during the AIADMK regime, the Enforcement directorate (ED) officers conducted raids for the 2nd day today at the places related to former AIADMK minister Vaithilingam.
It seems that this raid was going on in 6 places.  Yesterday, more than 50 ED officers and gun-toting Central Security Forces were involved in this raid at 13 locations at the same time, including 9 locations in Chennai and 4 locations in Thanjavur. It is said that various important documents have been seized in this search which was held till late last night. In this case, for the second day today, the raid was being held at 6 places.
