Edappadi Palaniswami beats down OPS

The AIADMK & BJP alliance has completed several confusing actions at the run-up to the by-election in Erode. In the absence of a decision and several rounds of consultations and a meeting with the BJP leader, today is the last day for filing the nomination papers. But the BJP & AIADMK alliance has come under heavy criticism.
The message of this by-election is that AIADMK & BJP alliance is like a muddled puddle and it will never clear. BJP will not like AIADMK merger. 

Political commentators have predicted that it wants to destroy that party and thereby gain a foothold in Tamil Nadu. Edappadi K Palanisamy (EPS) has been pushed to the point of not even being able to announce a candidate independently. 

Is Jayalalithaa the leader for him and Paneerselvam ( OPS) or  Annamalai the leader?Even for announcing the candidate they had to wait for BJP”s decision.  That is why DMK and its allies are criticizing both OPS and EPS as slaves of BJP. AIADMK executives have been going to Annamalai for every matter and seeking opinion, and the question has arisen whether AIADMK can be merged with BJP. Would this situation have happened if Jayalalithaa was alive? AIADMK workers themselves are disillusioned.

Anyway, AIADMK led by EPS has fielded in Erode East constituency. Thennarasu is contesting as AIADMK candidate against strong Congress candidate Elangovan.  Regardless of the outcome of this upcoming election, Edappadi Palaniswami has captured the double leaf symbol and defeated his first opponent O. Panneerselvam. His party is celebrating this as a victory. 

BJP has also won the game of political chess by not antagonizing both OPS and EPS and not contesting elections. Now the question that remains is,” Who will win the Erode East by-election?”
