EPS to face same LS verdict in Assembly poll, says Minister

During the parliamentary election, former Chief Minister Edappadiyar said that we will win all 40 seats. But we won only 40 seats. Now he says he will win 210 assembly seats. 
The parliamentary election result will reflect on him in the upcoming assembly elections as well, Housing Minister S Muthusamy said.  
He inaugurated various development works worth Rs 91 lakh in Erode today. He said: The government has allocated Rs 150 crore for various development works of the corporation and many works such as road, drinking water and sewerage facilities are being carried out under it. 
Regarding liquor shops, Edappadiyar's accusation is contrary to the truth. If he points out where the mistake is being made, appropriate action will be taken. As far as liquor shops are concerned, the government will gradually reduce it. 500 shops have already been closed.
Everyone knows what the consequences of immediate closure  of Tasmac shops will be.  Edappadiyar is criticizing the Stalin with You scheme. Every time various schemes are implemented to resolve people's grievances. Every Monday, the Collector receives petitions on Manu Needhi Day. Apart from that, ministers and officials receive petitions from the people in various places. Similarly, camps were held to resolve people's grievances. Now, camps are being held in the name of Stalin with You  to resolve people's grievances even faster. What is wrong in listening to people's grievances and resolving them? Lakhs of petitions are received and immediate solutions are found in the camps,  he added.  Erode East MLA Chandrakumar, DMK city Secretary Subramaniam, Corporation Councilor Saburmma Jafar Sadiq and many others were present.
