Yesterday, District Collector Raja Gopal Sunkara inspected the industrial enterprises operating in the District Industrial Center of the Small and Medium Enterprises Department.
Under the "Annal Ambedkar Industrial Pioneers Scheme" implemented by the District Industrial Center of the Small and Medium Enterprises Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Anbazhagan has received a bank loan of Rs. 35.92 lakh with an investment of Rs. 153.00 lakh and a government subsidy of Rs. 35.92 lakh and a company called "D/L. Sri Sabari Garments" is operating. Moreover, this entrepreneur is also receiving a 35% capital subsidy from the Government of Tamil Nadu. A 6% interest subsidy has also been provided for timely repayment of bank loans. Following this, the District Collector inspected the above Garments company and discussed with the entrepreneurs. During this event, the beneficiary stated that he has improved economically.
Mrs. P. Priya is running a weaving company named "Sanjeeth Weaves" with a loan of Rs. 401.48 lakhs under the New Entrepreneurs and Enterprise Development Scheme (NEEDS) in the Sipcot area of Perundurai, Erode. The District Collector visited the company and held discussions with the beneficiary. Steps are being taken to provide this entrepreneur with a 3% interest subsidy for timely repayment of the investment subsidy and bank loans from the Tamil Nadu Government.
