Erode sports hostel student attends Intl volleyball event

Erode government sports hostel student A Vishnushree attended the 14th Asian women volleyball championship for players under 18 age group in Thailand from June 6 to 13. She was staying in the hostel from 8th standard and was now studying 12th standard in the Government Girls HSS, PS park, Erode.

She, daughter of a farmer Arasu of Thiruvarur district, directly attended the prestigious event on behalf of Indian team. She and Swathi who was staying in the Sports hostel in Theni district were alone belonging to TN and took part in the international event by getting .accommodation in the Indian team due to their talent despite no major international event was held for the past 2 years due to corona.

In the event at Thailand, the Indian team bagged 10th position. Attending international event itself is a proud moment for any player, her sports hostel volleyball coach Mythili said and appreciated her.
