ETP to function within 6 months

The proposed effluent treatment plant (ETP) in the Perundurai Sipcot industrial growth centre will function within 6 or 7 months said Sports Development  and Youth Welfare Minister Udayanidhi Stalin.
After holding a review meeting in the Sipcot he told newsmen the ETP will fulfill the 10 year old demand of the unitholders. Of the cost of Rs 40 cr for the project, the government will give Rs 20 cr. The unitholders have agreed to give the rest of the cost. The ETP will be established in 5 acre land, he added. Housing  Minister S Muthusamy and Environment Minister Meyyanathan accompanied him.
