Faculty development programme at KPR College

KPR College of Arts Science and Research, Coimbatore, IQAC of KPRCAS, organised Faculty Development Programme on “Enhancing the Quality in Teaching, Learning Process” from July 11 to 16. Dr. S. Balusamy, Principal,welcomed the gathering.Dr.S. Ramachandran, Advisor and Secretary felicitated the gathering and 
emphasised the need for quality in education.

Dr. E. Balagurusamy, Former Vice Chancellor, Anna University, Chennai, Chairman, EBG Foundation, Coimbatore, was the Resource Person on July 11. He inaugurated the Faculty Development Programme and spoke on the topic “Insight into the National Education Policy.” He emphasised the National Education Policy (NEP) and elaborated its features.

He presented various statistical data on the level of education in India and hoped that NEP can help in the improvement of the overall standard of education. Dr. K.Pradeepa, NAAC and IQAC Coordinator proposed the vote of thanks. Deans, HoDs and faculty members attended the Faculty Development Programme .
