Farmers plea to Minister

The functionaries of the association of people affected by Perundurai Sipcot units led by its coordinator S Chinnaswamy met Housing Minister S. Muthuswamy at Erode and discussed about Perundurai Sipcot problems. 
They highlighted the plight of ryots whose 200 acres of land was acquired by the government through the Land Acquisition Act for establishing the Perundurai Sipcot Industrial Development Center. 
They were not given fair compensation for more than 25 years. They demanded compensation amounts as ordered by the High Court be paid immediately to all 
ryots. 
If no action is taken they will observe  fast on Dec 27 in front of Sipcot office with the families of the affected farmers to emphasize these demands. 
The Minister promised to take appropriate action in consultation with the officials.
