FATA plea to restore GPS

The members of Federation of All Teachers Associations (FATA) staged a demonstration in front of the offices of CEOs demanding the implementation of the old government pension scheme (GPS).
Nehru, state Coordinator of FATA, said that Chathishgarh and Rajasthan governments have already restored GPS.  

The DMK poll manifesto also assured to bring back GPS and the CM openly spoke on it in the election meetings. But unfortunately the finance minister openly speak against GPS in the state Assembly, he rued. 
Somasundaram, State General Secretary of the Graduate Teachers 'Association and Thimmarayan, State Organization Secretary of the High School Headmasters' Association presided over the function.
Venkatesh, District President, High School Headmasters' Association, Ilangovan, District Secretary, Postgraduate Teachers' Association, Anbarasu, State Vice President, Retired Postgraduate Teachers' Association were also present.
