Following the launch of the program by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, to the 7 lakh 35 thousand women selected as the new beneficiaries Kumaravel Pandian, District Collector of the Vellore district, presented the bank debit cards at a function held at the municipality in Gudiatham.  Assembly Members Nandakumar, Amulu Vijayan, District Revenue Officer Malathi, District Panchayat Committee Chairman Babu, were present.
