The Tamil Nadu Forest Department, Anamalai Tiger Reserve, and Coimbatore Forest Division, Coimbatore Forest Range organized a massive Plastic Cleaning Campaign to raise awareness about plastic pollution and its harmful effects on nature on July 24.
950 students of Yuvabharathi Public School, Coimbatore, along with Coimbatore Range field staff and TREE NGO (Trust for Environment & Ecosystem) volunteers participated.
As a highlight of the campaign, students created a striking human formation spelling out "AVOID PLASTIC," powerfully conveying the message of a plastic-free environment.
The initiative aimed to educate young minds, inspire eco-consciousness, and strengthen collective efforts to protect our forests and wildlife.
