Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science (KCLAS) welcomed a total of 476 students across 11 undergraduate programs during KCLAS Swagatham 2024 on Sunday.
This marked the entry of the 7th batch of students to the Kumaraguru campus since its inception in 2018.
Principal Dr. Vijila Edwin Kennedy, KCLAS), welcomed the freshers. Shri Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent of Kumaraguru Institutions, delivered the presidential address.
Dr Vijila Edwin Kennedy, Principal, talked about the college's rich heritage as part of the Kumaraguru Institutions founded in 1984.
Shri Shankar Vanavarayar, Joint Correspondent, Kumaraguru Institutions welcomed the freshers, faculty, and parents to Kumaraguru College of Liberal Arts and Science (KCLAS) and highlighted KCLAS's place within the larger Kumaraguru Institutions and its 40-year legacy of excellence in education. He emphasized that KCLAS is committed to providing students with a well-rounded education that includes both academics and extracurricular activities.
He highlighted the importance of co-curricular and extracurricular activities in a student's development. He stressed that beyond academics, students should explore their passions, hobbies, and interests. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle for optimal physical and mental well-being.
