The G20 Summit on Technology and Security for One World has been inaugurated at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. Several dignitaries from India and abroad attended the two-day event hosted by the official Engagement Group of G20 on Technology, Security & Transparency.
RN Ravi,Governor, Lt. General Dr. Rajesh Pant, National Cyber Security Coordinator, PMO, India, Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri, Vice Chairman, Mata Amritanandamayi Math and Troika Member G20; Vijay Nambiar, Sherpa G20 and Former UN Secretary Generals Special Advisor; Bharati Ghosh, National Spokesperson of BJP & Member of National Executive Committee of BJP; Dr. Venkat Rangan, Vice Chancellor, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham; and Dr. Krishnashree Achuthan, National Coordinator of G20 Summit on Technology, Security & Transparency and Dean, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham attended the event.
Addressing the delegates, Shri RN Ravi, Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu, said: “India is hosting the Presidency of G20. This is a unique opportunity for the country to offer policy recommendations rooted in its larger divine mandate.''
In her video address, renowned spiritual leader and humanitarian Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma) who is the Chair of G20 India, said: “Humanity is facing extraordinary challenges today, including on subtler levels, which we may be unable to perceive or understand.'' Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri, Vice Chairman, Amritanandamayi Math also spoke.
