GIRT and Frankfurt Chapters meet for new business opportunities

A Joint German Indian Round Table Meet in Coimbatore was held at Residency Hotel, Coimbatore. The Head of the German Indian Round Table (GIRT) – Coimbatore Chapter – Dr.S.Chandrasekar  and Dr. Johannes Weisser - President of the German Indian Round Table – Frankfurt Chapter have co-ordinated this meeting.
The Chief Guest for the day was Her Excellency - Mrs. Michaela Kuchler - The Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Chennai and the Guest of Honor was Mr. Alexandre Callegaro, Head of Economic Section at the German Embassy in New Delhi.
AMICORP Services a Business consultancy and advisory company from Germany with global offices across continents, had given presentations based on the title “Focus on Germany: An Investment Hotspot and a Gateway to Europe for Indian Companies”
The opening address of the meeting was delivered by Mr. K. Ramasamy, Chairman of Roots Group of Companies and Founder Patron of the GIRT– Coimbatore Chapter.
Dr. S. Chandrasekar, Corporate Director of Roots Group of Companies and Head of GIRT and Dr. Johannes Weisser, President - GIRT - Frankfurt & Partner - Ferox Legal, Germany welcomed.
Mr. Radhakrishnan, Chairman - CII, Coimbatore Chapter & Managing Director, Sieger Spintech Equipments Pvt. Ltd spoke. 
Mrs. Michaela Kuchler - The Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Chennai said south India would have four chapters of GIRT and the Consulate was supporting all efforts for strengthening the industrial ties between Germany and the southern States.
Mr. Alexandre Callegaro - Head of Economic Section at the German Embassy in New Delhi said Roughly about half of the 5000 European companies operating in India are Germany- based. 
Mr. Hanno De Vriend, Global Head - Outsourcing Services and Mr. Marc Pruem, Commercia Director - AMICORP Germany spoke on Focus on Germany : An Investment Hotspot and a Gateway to Europe for Indian Companies.
Mrs. Sathyapriya Balakrishnan, Managing Director – Zahoransky Moulds & Machines Pvt. Ltd delivered vote of thanks.
