GKNM Hospital inaugurates pulmonary hypertension clinic in Coimbatore

GKNM Hospital has launched a specialised Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic to offer advanced care for patients dealing with pulmonary hypertension. The clinic aims to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of this condition, which affects the blood vessels in the lungs and heart. The inauguration also included a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program designed to update healthcare professionals on the latest advancements and treatment approaches for pulmonary hypertension.
The event was attended by several prominent figures from the hospital, including Santhosh Kumar Dora, Executive Medical Director; Shanmuga Sundaram, Chief Consultant for Heart Failure Clinic and Echo Cardiography; Ragupathy Velusamy, CEO; Sambasivam, Chairman of the Cardiology Department; and V Santhosh, Medical Director for Operations.
