GKNM organises Diabetes Awareness Expo at Coimbatore

In recognition of World Diabetes Day, GKNM Integrated Outpatient Centre (iOP) organised a comprehensive Diabetes Awareness Exhibition from November 15-16. 
Thiru. R. Gopinath, Vice president, Kuppuswamy Naidu charitable Trust, Dr. G. Manoharan, Chief Medical Officer, GKNM Hospital, Dr. Santhosh Kumar Dora, Executive Medical Director, GKNM Hospital, Dr. Sundararajan, Resident Medical Officer, Dr. Srinivasan, Consultant Diabetelogist, Dr. Muthulakshmi, Consultant Diabetelogist along with GKNM Institute of Nursing Staff and Students attended the event.
It aimed to educate the community about diabetes prevention, early detection, and effective management through a wide array of screenings. It included consultations,  informative activities, free screening & evaluations, vital screening, foot care evaluation, eye check up,  doctor consultations & counselling,  alternate medicine consultations, diet counselling,  physiotherapy and yoga sessions, 
healthy eating display, millets cookbook.

This exhibition provided a unique opportunity to gain practical knowledge, interact with healthcare professionals, and explore multiple aspects of diabetes care under one roof.
