According to Dr. Ashwin when the body is unable to cool itself down it causes symptoms such as fatigue, dizziness, and nausea. To prevent heat exhaustion and heat stroke, follow these tips:Stay indoors during the hottest part of the day, usually between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wear light-coloured and loose-fitting clothing that allows air to circulate. Take frequent breaks in cool, shady areas.
Dr. Ashwin recomends eating healthy and balanced diet with Fresh fruits and vegetables that are packed with vitamins and minerals that can help keep your body hydrated and healthy. Water-rich fruits like watermelon and grapes, and vegetables like cucumbers and tomatoes are helpful.
Staying hydrated is important during the summer months, especially if you spend time outdoors. Drinking water regularly throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty.
