Gobi Venkateswara School records cent percent pass in plus 2 for the past 21 years

Gobi Sri Venkateswara Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School has achieved a record of 100% pass rate in the Plus Two examination for the last 21 years. This year, 138 students from this school wrote the examination and succeeded. Among them, Kavithra 589, Srimathi 587 and Vignesh 582 secured the top three positions in the school with the highest marks. School president and former minister K C Karuppannan presented prizes to the students who scored the highest marks. School Trust Chairman Venkatachalam and directors were present at the event. Nine students scored 100% marks in Mathematics, 5 in Computer Science and four in Computer Applications. Students are admitted to this school from class VI to class XII at a very low fee in Tamil medium. Admission to class XI will be held on the day the class X exam result is announced. There is no fee for students who score more than 490 marks in the 10th exam. Half bus fare is charged for students up to second standard. School buses are free for pre-KG children. NEET coaching is free. Cost of Textbooks are only charged. Teaching is in Tamil and English medium. Separate hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. Bus, van facilities are available within a radius of 40 km. Cricket, gymnastics and rifle shooting training are provided to students.
