Gobi youth selected as Manager of Diffables Cricket Team

Differently abled cricketer Harichandran selling vegetables in the daily market at Gobi, has been selected as manager of the Indian cricket team for differently abled persons. He has been a player and manager of the Tamil Nadu team for the diffabled for the past ten years. 

He is going to attend the 3-day persons with disabilities ( PWD) T20 cricket at McCann Cricket Stadium, Ranchi, Jharkhand on 20, 21, 22 which is followed by one day match on 24th (Banaras) and a Test match on 26,27,28 in Lucknow in which the Indian PWD Cricket Team vs Bangladesh PWD Cricket Team International Series will be held.

In this, Harichandran, son of Ponnuchami Vadugapalayam, Gobi, Erode district, is selected as the manager of the Indian  cricket team for diffables. He says ''I am happy to be called as a manager by the Indian team for the first time. I am leaving for Ranchi from Erode on Sept 15.''

International physically challenged cricket series is being held at Ranchi and Lucknow for Indian physically challenged cricket team. He has been selected as manager of Indian physically challenged cricket team for the first time in this series. In this regard, he thanked the TN physically challenged cricket association  and the players of Divyang cricket control board of India for their support to him'', he said.
