For the past few months, the price of gold has been rising in line with the international market. Although the gold price has decreased slightly from time to time, it has increased again in the following days and has been touching new highs at unpredictable levels. Since the beginning of this year, the gold price has been reaching new highs every day at rocket speed. But it has fluctuated in the previous week.
On Tuesday, gold price touched a new high and was sold at Rs 68,080 per sovereign. It is being sold at Rs 8,510 per gram and a sovereign at Rs 68,080. Silver price in retail trade has increased by Rs 1 per gram and is being sold at Rs 114.
Following this, on Wednesday, the gold price remained unchanged at Rs 68,080. Gold jewellery is being sold at Rs 8,510 per gram without any change in price. Silver is being sold at Rs 114 per gram and Rs 1,14,000 per kg without any change in price. On Thursday, the gold price has increased by Rs 400 per sovereign and is being sold at Rs 68,480. The price of gold jewellery has increased by Rs 50 per gram and is being sold at Rs 8,560. Silver price has decreased by Rs 2,000 per kg and is being sold at Rs 1,12,000.
