Good Shepherd School holds IB Manthan 2024

Good Shepherd International School, Ooty in collaboration with the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), hosted the IB Manthan 2024 on January 11th and 12th, 2024.
The event was a grand success, with over 150 participants including Heads of Schools and educators from IB schools, prospective IB schools in India, and select invitees. The event was designed to be a platform for educators to come together and share their perspectives on the future of education.
The symposium showcased an eclectic array of influential and stimulating keynote speakers and workshop facilitators who established the ambiance of the conference and offered novel insights on the central theme, "The Future of Education: How Should It Evolve?".
The online address by IBO representative, Ms. Stefanie Leong, the Head of Development and Recognition, Asia - Pacific, from the IB Global Center in Singapore, and Mr. Mahesh Balakrishnan, Head - Development and Recognition Manager, India and Nepal.
Ms. Lakshmi Kumar, Dr.Swati Popat Vats & Mr. Vishwas Parchure delivered keynote addresses during the event. 
The workshop leaders - Ms. Seetha Murthy, Ms. Srilakshmi Reddy & Ms. Rituparna Ghosh shared their valuable insights and support. Mr. Jacob Thomas, President of Good Shepherd International School conducted an insightful and interactive workshop on AI and its use by educators in the classroom.
The Sanskrit-origin term "Manthan" signifies "Churning." Metaphorically, it represents the process of engaging in profound reflection or detailed examination to derive a resolution or insight. 
This is exactly what the educational conclave delivered.
