Govt expo to begin by April end

Collector Krantikumar Badi asked officials to erect stalls in the district level expo to be held at Coimbatore prison parade ground for 45 days from April end to help people know various schemes of the government while attending a preliminary meeting in this regard in the Collectorate. 
Additional collector Dr Alarmel Mangai, DRO Leela Alex, and many officials attended. In the expo, 27 government and 7 quasi government departments will display their schemes and achievements of the government. The best 3 stalls will be given prizes by the Information Minister Saminathan and Electricity Minister Senthil Balaji. 
Additional bus facility will be arranged from 4 to 10 pm to help people visit the expo. 
Stalls selling many household goods will also function in the expo, he added.
