Govt Expo to begin from June 11

District Collector Dr. GS Sameeran inspected the halls being set up on behalf of various government departments for the Government Exhibition to be held at the Coimbatore prison parade ground on June 11.

He was accompanied by Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner M. Pratap and several government officials.The information and public relations department holds the expo to highlight  Government's schemes and achievements.Minister of Electricity, Prohibition and Excise  A. Senthil Balaji and the Minister of Information M. B. Saminathan are scheduled to inaugurate the expo.  The event is expected to be attended by MPs, MLAs, local body leader and government officials. 

The pavilions are being set up for the benefit of the public on the projects being implemented by the 27 Government Departments, besides TWAD, Mahalir Thittam, TNPCB, Aavin, Coimbatore Corporation, Tamil Nadu Drinking Water Drainage Board, Aavin, Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board. The pavilions are specially set up to present to the public the projects being implemented by all government departments and to showcase the achievements and projects implemented by their department.  District Collector Dr. GS Sameeran has requested the public to attend the Government Exhibition to be launched with the entertainment feature and get benefit by knowing the Government's plans.
